Karen Wilber (MTNA and WMTA member since 2001) received her first bachelor of
arts degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 1997. In 2003 she
completed her second B.A. at UWEC in music under the instruction of Dr. Barbara
Wimunc-Pearson.
In 2004 and 2005 Karen did graduate work at Meredith College in
Raleigh, NC where she studied performance and piano pedagogy with Dr. Kent Lyman.
It was during those two years at Meredith that Mrs. Wilber had the opportunity to study
with international recording artist, Walther Hautzig, and to perform with the Raleigh
Symphony orchestra as the winner of Meredith‘s 2005 Concerto/Aria Competition.

Since 1998, Mrs. Wilber has taught piano to all ages and skill levels in
Raleigh, Madison, Eau Claire, Clear Lake, and Menomonie. She has settled down in
the area and is dedicated to the long-term growth of KW Piano Studios.
